Being a homer I'd choose Harden & D12, but in all honesty, several others come to mind, such as: Parker and Duncan Curry and Thompson (too-scoring backcourt last season IIRC) LeBron & anyone who can knock down 3s And very likely, Lin & D12
Of course! Parker and Duncan I forgot about them until you mentioned it. That duo is epic... Legacy worthy... You can't compared D12/Harden or Westbrook/Durant to them!
Son I am disappoint. The ONLY epic, legacy worthy duo in bball history was J.Lin/T.Chandler and you know this.
Totally. Their chemistry and teamwork are unparalleled. I think the two could probably run PnR blindfolded. They know EXACTLY where each other is on the court.

So you have to be the first guy to mention Lin on this thread? thing are getting personal for you eh?
Why does it have to be "duo". I can see Harden having a great game, Parsons had one game where he shot 80% from both inside and outside the arc. I can see Lin having a 40pt game as well. I can see Dwight Howard having monster games. I think the NBA has been for - a while changing, 1 player can't do it anymore. Nor can 2 by themselves. The Heat are more than just 2 players. Take Ray Allen out, Shane Battier - and I don't see them winning last season's championship. Sure they are impact players but they aren't playing 2 on 5. The Spurs have won numerous championships without needing to say its a DUO. I also highly valued Bev, DMo Asik Garcia Del3no 2Pat etc last season. Isn't there enough love for the entire team I'm from the perspective of looking for a competitive starting five and also a kickbutt stomping bench. Just saying.
Harden is the best SG of the league and Howard is the best center of the league. LeBron makes it tough, because he is so much better than anyone else. But if you specifically ask for a duo, I would go with Harden and Howard.
Edge goes to the duo with the best player in the league...and already in discussion for all time greats.
LeBron + Wade is still the favorite right now, but I will say that IF Harden takes another step forward and IF Dwight returns to being the 3rd best player in the league, the Rockets could take over the #1 spot. WB will always hold back Durant, especially coming off injury. Wade will continue to decline and could fall out of the top 15 this upcoming season. So, if Harden and Dwight both become top 5 players (again, in Dwight's case), I could see a definite argument that they would be the best duo in the league. For now though I'm still voting for LeBron.
Lebron/Bosh Durant/Westbrook . . . . . . . wait there are no more duos. it's all about the superfriends teams now. f*** you nba.
1 LeBron 2 Durant 3 Dwight 4 Harden 5 Wade 6 Westbrook MIA- 1+5=6 HOU- 3+4=7 OKC-2+6=8 Lower number wins
Westbrook is better than Wade and equal to Harden IMO. Harden is more efficient, Westbrook is more explosive and a much better defender.
