with our roster we won't need to be in a situation were we have to be clutch. and are you forgetting about <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/GjpIJdYBrMI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> and <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/cP0ToApjpWY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Uh, I'd rather be up by 20 pts and resting my starters, than having the game rest on just one last second clutch shot.
This will be the biggest free-agent acquisition in Rockets history and always will remain the biggest.

First appearance in this thread. I must say what a great day Friday was. When Sam Amick first dropped the news, it was a great moment. Seeing as I thought he'd go back to LA, I never gave it a ton of thought. That being said, by the time we got to Wednesday/Thursday, you kind of felt like it had to happen or most of us would be crushed. Glad he's here, and I feel like we have a shot to be special with a move here and a move there.
My first post in 2 weeks. First, congrats to all the Rockets fans who had been around since Dwightmare I. I'm sure Dwight will be well worth the frustration, emotional trauma, and patience you had to endure for the past two off-seasons. What we had witnessed in a year time is historical, a building of a championship team. When this off season started, l posted that all the telltale signs were there that it was Dwight who hated playing with Kobe, hated his guts and gutless MDA who won't stand against him. It was never about the system, nor the coach. I'm sure Mitch knew the sure way to retain Dwight was to amnesty Kobe. I'm glad he didn't have the guts either. I also posted that once we have Dwight, 5Morey will not sacrifice flexibility by adding JSmoove. He was always Plan B. Here is my take on the near future: We are going forward with what we have, unless its a clear upgrade, no further major trades into season. I believe Morey still has high expectation that DMo or TJones will have a breakout season and becomes a solid 4. This would be the idea scenario and leaves us with the most important asset under the new CBA--FLEXIBILITY in cap! With flexibility, tweaking the championship roster will be a lot easier. Stay patient Rockets fans and we will all witness a championship team in a near future.
