I understand people love the trade because Royce is gone, but Furkan Aldemir very well could become a useful NBA rotation player, so by no means did Sam Hinkie do the Rockets a solid here.

lol Royce was such a big headache......all of a sudden wasting a 16th picks and trading it for nothing is considered a net win!

    That is exactly right.

Question: have you ever tried exactly this trade with someone? Could come in handy, I guess.

    Good riddance.

Wishing this clown the best as we part ways is very difficult.

He thinks he is a point guard, but his ass can't even stay in front of small forwards. SMH.

I think a lot of y'all are underestimating Furkan. He's one of the top rated European players now. He's a beast, similar to Asik. It's a lot to give up, but getting rid of that fata$$'s contract. Totally worth it.

I just want to get this straight. Royce White got 1.7 million from the Rockets to tweet have an RV bought while buying a nice home in Houston?

I have NEVER heard someone call Royce a low risk high reward player.

Anybody know what specifically we got for the sixers? Level of protection on pick, etc.

It just keeps getting better and better. Please no more White threads, ever. Royce, we are not going to miss you. You wasted our time. You wasted the Rocket's money. You wasted a golden opportunity that few receive.

    Sam did us a solid.

The first thing the Rockets needed was cap space, since there was not enough space yet to sign Dwight. We could have achieved that by waiving Greg Smith, Beverly, et al. But thanks to Sam, losing White's salary makes it possible to sign Dwight and keep the boys.

So thanks Sam for the cap space and taking on the nut case.

At the very least, we could thank Sam by giving him the Furkan rights, etc. for helping us (#1) get the cap space, (#2) enable us to keep our other guys, (#3) get rid of the head case.

Don't quote that fool. He's below Royce on the totem pole.
