Bucks sign Zaza Pachulia

As if they didn't have enough bigs. And $5 mil - way more than I thought he would get.

 

Zaza is the best ever Caucasian player in the NBA. Well worth the money.

Do people here actually think the Bucks will trade Larry Sanders?

 

If Peculiar is worth $5 million/year, Asik is the steal of the century.

As well as center. So the 3 man rotation would be Sanders, Henson, Pachulia. And maybe Drew Gooden.

Where are the Bucks with the Brandon Jennings situation? He's restricted but do they want him back at whatever $ amount he can get? And what can he get, exactly? Seems teams with cap rooms are kind of drying up. Who still has the ability to outbid MIL for him?

If Jennings is gone, maybe Lin for Ersan?

 

Supposedly the Bucks will match whatever Jennings is offered. They originally wanted to keep Monta Ellis and let Jennings go. But plans have flip-flopped since Ellis doesn't want to stay and nobody is going to break the bank for Jennings.

I don't think I'd trade Asik for Ilyasova without getting more in return.

I think he's just a more valuable asset as an elite rim protector/rebounder than a good shooting 4. The Rockets may be better off just keeping Asik and either try out the young PFs on the roster at least for a while or acquire a PF, maybe one not as good as Ilysasova, at a lower cost.

 

Wow, that's a bit much, centers are expensive these days.

 

Worst deal this offseason. Zaza is 30 in February and he torn his achilles tendon and he got more than he ever got from any teams. Hammond is top-3 idiot in the game right now
