Maybe cuz Pau years ago similar to Howard, he held his old team hostage and pouted HIS way OUT from it. So he can't act like he's been some super loyal soldier all his career. Or Pau realized Kobe ISNT coming back on court until 2014 anyway, so who cares about Kobe's influence Pau can be himself the rest of the time. Or Pau might feel he's actually on the move OUT of LA HIMSELF. So no need to burn friendships over a situation both of them won't even be in.

I love the negative feedback LA is giving him. He is hungry. I know it's hard to believe that right now. But, he is. He wants rings. He knows the ONLY way to redeem himself is with RINGS. Lebron was public enemy #1 and just tuned everything out with A LOT of help from Hakeem (well documented that was a huge contributing factor). Hakeem will be that guy in Dwight's ear now. Dwight will be scarier with the Rockets than he was in Orlando. The only two players I can think of that would help Dwight more than Harden is Lebron and then CP3.
