Man look at the organization he plays for. I know he will be a headache one way or another. But you put him on a winning team, with Harden Dwight, and Mchale coaching him...skys the limit. The guy is a flat out monster.
Think that Mavs would trade Dirk for Omer and Lin plus picks? He claimed he was retiring if they didnt get Dwight, but it would help them rebuild and Dirk would have a shot for a title again as a Texan.
I don't think their is anyway Dallas trades to inner-division, inner-state rival unless maybe Dirk specifically demands it, which he probably won't.
I think the Blazer and Twolves made it very clear that they ARE NOT dealing those guys. Cleveland offered Waiters, Thompson, and #1 overall pick for both and both were shot down. Not happening.
Illyasova would be my top choice, but with them already having Larry Sanders, I don't see them being interested in Asik, maybe Lin?
I believe Morey. While Asik is not a star, he is the next best thing. Morey also said something like 13 minutes a game from Asik is worth as much as 30 minutes a game from Josh Smith. Wait for Aldridge or Love. The opportunity will present itself.
the wolves maybe the answer. Asik for D. Williams and JJ Brarea and a first round pick. making Lin even more tradable

i like the trade, but coach karl thought mcghee sucked too and he is now unemployed. like the trade though
I am really hoping that Milwaukee loses Jennings and becomes desperate for a point guard. That would be a good landing spot for Lin and hopefully we could snag Ersan out of out it. If not maybe Moute.
