Anyone else agree? I don't think Rockets will win this year, but next year, they got a great shot.

    Thank you Sam Presti.

When you think about it, the Rockets have a lot of players playing with a chip on their shoulders. I am extremely excited about this Rockets team, man after we missed out on the Dwightstakes last year this forum was so depressing to read. No hope, just a bunch of draft picks and everyone was calling to tank. Now... damn hats off to Morey.

Durant could leave OKC. I'm sure he feels left out by everyone jumping to play with their buddies on good teams. Nowadays they call you a loser unless you join a stacked team and win. I don't think JayZ will want him staying in OKC either.

This would be an awesome way to stick it to the thunder organization.

I think a bold statement would be claiming that anyone but Lerbon will win the title in the next three years. He is so at his peak and locked in to doing what it takes, and he gets better every year.

I'm not even a big fan of his but the evidence is pretty daunting. He got less this year from Dwade and whats-his-bukkake than we got from Chandler and Omer. So very true ... and scary.

Rockets best chance to up their chances even more would be to trade for LaMarcus Aldrige and Asik would be dealt to Portland

Sure, but I think a PF should be traded for or TJ/DMo need to step up. It seems gsmith would be a nice backup, nothing more

We will win one in the next two years. Harden and Dwight compliment each other so well. Harden will get better from last season and Dwight will return to his former self. Not to mention, Morey doesn't have to spend ALL of his time trying to figure out the last piece of the puzzle. Three out of five of our starting lineup: ALREADY final pieces to the puzzle.

What does that mean for Houston Rockets? Morey can do what he does best: get completely unexpected talent for 500k/year to fill in the holes of the team. Whether that means gritty defender for X position or lights out shooter. The fact is, it's easier to find those guys than the three we already have. Not to mention, Beverley, Garcia are already GREAT compliments. Dmo, Tjones, Smith are GREAT prospects that other teams have interest in. Asik is already a championship piece. Lin is the wild card. He has so many variables to him it's hard to define.
