Oh yes. Jermaine helped the Rockets win even when playing for another team. Imagine what he can do for the Rockets when he actually plays for them.

BTW, Dallas and GSW have no chance. Morey will just deploy Chandler Parsons and Jermaine is ours.

Don't believe this story is true. Stein was already wrong about Asik.

Is Oneal going to be a big upgrade at the 3rd string center option over Smith, Ohlbrecht and small ball?

Im not so sure about that at his age.

I would rather the Rockets search the globe for a bargain SG/PG with playmaking abilities who can come off the bench and give this team an adrenaline shot with the final roster spot... sort of an irrational confidence guy. Morey found Beverley over in a Siberian cave, you'd have to think there is an irrational confidence guy over there he's had his eye on for some time now.

Still- Morey loves to load up the training camp roster with 4 or 5 non-guaranteed contracts and let them battle it out for the final spot or two. Im assuming even if they go over the roster limit, they can rationalize cutting Ohlbrecht or Anderson if the space is needed to bring in said player and keep an old cog like Oneal as the 3rd string center.

However, if Asik gets traded, hell yeah you need some depth at the center spot, and having Oneal to fight for minutes with Smith would be a necessity.

Oddly enough Sergio Llull sort of fits the mold of that kind of player. Definitely can be irrational at times to a frustrating point, but certainly a talented offensive player.

I wonder if he's paid attention to whats happened the past 48 hours and taken notice? Its still nearly impossible to get him out of that contract with Real Madrid until next year, but I wouldn't be shocked if both parties at least contacted each other for S$#%'s and giggles.

Don't want him. That guy can't even play a full season anymore.

I actually wanted Vasquez from Pelicans (now Kings), reminds me a lot of Ginobili.

injury prone centers should be at the bottom of our backup center list.
