is his poor free throw shooting percentage an issue with low confidence, or is he just a bad free throw shooter?
Thread should be called "Answers about Casspi" But seriously though, can he still play? Why has his play dropped off? Is he in your opinion, a good shooter?
Thanks for sharing your info. What injury did he have that caused his issue in cleveland. I couldn't remember how/what he hurt.
Casspi like to assist and yes into the post. Smart Player- I guess average. Team defense- CAVS fans say he had no understand what so ever.
Casspi was very good at first. But the teams were very slow and weak and he needs the craziness to be good.
Good question. I have no idea why Scott put him on bench. CAVS were so bad and yet he didn't give him a true chance. Strength- 3pt Weakness- He can't do 1on1
ok so sounds like he's good in transition. old sactown kings style. nuggets. how we played last year. he will fit well w second group. only one year guaranteed. risk vs reward
Not a very good passer in my opinion, you can also see it in his statics in assists. Usually when Casspi gets the ball he shoots it,but overall yes he can pass, but he is not a great passer.
Did Casspi have any serious injuries that slowed down his game ? What was he doing after Cleveland let him leave ? Did he go back to play in the Israeli league ?
He had few injuries, nothing serious but enough for scott to forget him. last one he had appendix removal.
I'll just jump in and copy what I wrote in the Rockets realgm forum (which at least a couple of people found helpful):
He had an injury before his third season. He was playing for Cleveland for two years, until the end of this season, therefore,he wasn't able to play in the Israeli league,he is playing 4 consecutive years in the NBA,this season with Houston will be his fifth. But he will play in the Israeli national team in the upcoming Eurobasket tournament.
As i wrote, in some point (somewhere in the mid season) Casspi was leading NBA for 3pt. later it went down
