With all of the talk of getting Anderson, I think going after Ersan is the better move. He is a prototypical stretch 4 out there. Good rebounder, very efficient shooter from most places, and a decent defender (better than Anderson). He's a nice outlet for the slashers and Dwight. He's relatively young and his contract is very favorable, more so than Anderson.

Think they'd be up for a trade centered around an asik-ersan swap?

Not sure how an Asik-Sanders frontcourt makes sense for them. Would love Ilyasova though. Would also love Kevin Love!

Most like the ice truck killer, but, they have Saunders, so, doubt they want Asik

Yeah, they need a big that has enough offense to make up for Sanders.

    Better idea than Anderson, definitely

Might have to be a three way trade. Ilyasova would be a good fit, just as would Anderson. Maybe Morey has more confidence than we realize in Dmo/Jones, though?

honestly, i think parsons is our stretch 4. we should keep the 2 things that made us successful last season. the small ball lineup and asik.

    dwight-asik
parsons-real power forward (for big lineups) sign with room exception
    harden-caspi
    beverly-garcia
    lin-canaan

Could be a 3 way trade where they get one of Jones/Motiejunas and also some picks. Third team gets Asik and we get Ilyasova.

Parsons at 4 with Iguodala would have been pretty good, but he's pretty old and expensive. And I just saw Millsap signed for 2/19, which is a huge bargain, but too bad he's not that great of a fit for the roster.

Are the Bucks shopping him? They would be stupid to let him go. He is good and and he young.

Exactly, but I love this guy. I have been pushing for him for two years now.. He is better fit for this team than any other PF not named Love. Yeah Bosh and LMA would work. But Ilyasova is deadly from behind the arc and his defensive defficiences (not horrid) will get covered up by Howard and he is on a decent contract. I would trade Asik for him in a heart beat. he is deadly behind the arc and makes Anderson look like DMo shooting 3's. But the kid can run the court rebound and plays smart. The Rockets would be hard pressed to find a better fit. Unfortunately as you said the Bucks got Sanders and don't need Asik but there is always the possibility of a three way deal. I can dream.

Keep Asik. Trade Lin. Bucks need a PG badly and a gate attraction. Here's a little 3-way or 4-way trade to consider NY has agreed to trade Novak/Camby to Toronto for Bargnani. So let's exploit this trade by adding us and Milwaukee

    Toronto sends Bargnani to NY.
NY sends Novak to Milwaukee and Camby to Houston
Milwaukee sends Ilyasova to Houston and Ayon to Toronto
    Houston sends Lin to Milwaukee

Toronto (bigger salary dump than before)
    Out: Bargnani
    In: Ayon

NY (same players in and out)
    Out: Novak/Camby
    In: Bargnani

    Milwaukee
    Out: Ilyasova/Ayon
    In: Lin/Novak

    Houston
    Out: Lin
    In: Ilyasova and Camby

The length of Ilyasova contract makes me not like it much... I think he's on the books for 4 more years.

Think: Detroit. They'll be interesting in the match-up department while being a player for a very high draft pick.

Ah... not too bad, I guess.

I was kind of hoping we just ride with Asik and Lin, but I guess Morey has to change our team from 'young and scrappy' to 'title contenders'
