I agree, Morey clearly doesn't know what he is doing. I wish he would get off his butt and do something.

What you expect from a rookie who hardly seen playing time. And 11 blocks within two consecutive games is showing some of his ceiling.

Morey keeps signing likable, intelligent players who are locker room fits. And every other player that fits the mold now wants to be here.

So we have a Dominican, a Jew, a Taiwanese, a Turk, a Lithuanian & a German. Morey going for most internationally differentiated team of the NBA.

I like it. He's tall, young and can put the ball in the bucket. I think he'l be a nice 3rd string SF, will come in and give us some bucket when there's injury's or any foul trouble.

Seems like people forget that he was balling his rookie season, i believe he can become a real solid backup if properly coached and is put in the right situation.

    Rookie season stats
    10pts .446% - 3pt .369% - 4.5 rbs and 1.3 asst in 25 mins not bad for at all for a rookie.

Casspi was actually very decent and effective in his rookie year in Sac-town,really played well and it was surprising since he was picked in the 23rd pick in the draft, unfortunately for him he had to face the rookie wall, and his averages dropped in his Sophomore year as well, matter of fact Casspi's career is in regression.
Casspi proved that he can play ball for a coach who truly believes in him,he needs to gain confident,it's an important issue with him,the city he lives in also matters,I mean he really liked Sacramento in terms of climate,Cleveland was bad for him in terms of climate,so I believe Houston will be a good fit for this youngster.
Casspi and cisco were great buddies back then in Sacramento,Cisco kinda took Casspi under his wings,so I believe it won't be a problem for Casspi to fit in because he is truly a hard worker.

With the way we use our power forward it's like having two small forwards on the court anyway...

And we all love the job Cisco did in the playoffs but that's the best that dude has played since college. Can't expect that level of play from him throughout an entire season. And plus Cisco is a shooting guard _ not a small forward. I think Cisco is here to also back up Harden.

We'll see how it plays out but I think both Morey and McHale are excited about TJ and he will get some minutes.

Casspi can ball. Just stuck in an unfortunate situation.

Only real area to address are PF and PG if we are serious about not keeping Lin. If no Lin, then who though? Who could we reasonably attain?

Sessions isn't much better. Lins fine he just needs to be consistent. He had flashes. I don't know who we could reasonably attain that is better. Mo Williams? Not much better and a goon.

I'd love Dragic back. Phoenix might be tempted given the acquisition of Bledsoe. Dragic & Harden would be a sick backcourt.

33% career 3pt percentage...........yea I'm just gonna have to trust Morey on this one.

    Must be a cheap signing.

really don't get the hate on this signing ESPECIALLY considering this is for the vet's min. If you look at his rebounding and steal numbers per 36 or 48mins are solid numbers and if you further consider his role on the team as a freakin reserve for the benchplayers smh..

I know most of these points were already made by others but all this hate for this move is mind boggling

Casspi prior to this past year was pretty reliable. He did fairly well with the Kings. He was even in the rising stars game his rookie season.

For cheap he's a good risk, and young.

A sure sign that Asik will be traded. You can't have an Israeli and a Muslim on the same team, can you?

Expectations are irrelevant. Its what he actually brings that counts, not his potential.
