Agreed, and not only that, but against a team like OKC you need multiple defenders to throw at KD.

Let's be honest: nobody saw Garcia's contributions coming. If you would have told me beforehand the x-factor in that series was going to be Garcia, I probably would have laughed in your face.

But as it turned out, Garcia's defense on KD was every bit as valuable as his shooting was.

Casspi offers both things as well.

OKC and the Lakers should be on the Rockets Christmas list... Send them thank you cards and a basket of bananas.

Good point about TJ. I just dont think he'll get a lot of looks at SF because of our depth there.

Probably too expensive, and wasn't he injured at the end of the year last year?

Getting Dwight Howard was A+, regardless who we get now on. Vet minimum, you really can't expect much and you can't really fault Morey to fill the roster with the money left. There is still a whole summer left and around training camp maybe someone valuable will be let go and we can pick up.

Dude he's injured. Has a boone bruise in his foot or something. May miss some of the season and even if he was healthy, he may not make it through the season. That's probably why Morey isn't signing him.

Daryl Morey has been in love with this guy for quite a while now.... but i think he was added for bench depth and not to have rotation mins, but thats just my thoughts, i could be wrong... but look for the Rockets to improve at 4, add depth at the 3 and maybe even the 2.

Aren't there better players out there for the veteran minimum, why sign him so quickly? Is Morey high on him??

This guy is terrible. Rockets should have used vet minimum on Gary Neal or Stephen Jackson instead.

What dept...? After Harden and Howard, TJ is probably the most talented and skilled player on this team. He blocks shots, rebounds, will dunk on somebody, can push the ball up the court, can shoot from the outside, and can play defense. I don't think the other forwards on this team (besides Parsons) are good enough to keep him on the bench.
