We are preparing to match up against SA OKC and Miami. All three of them are most effect I've when running a small lineup - Durant at the four, Leonard at the four, Lebron a the four. That's how this league is going and our best lineups last year featured delfino or Garcia at the four. I think we are gong to find out what motie or t jones can drat the four, but plan to play Garcia there at close out games. The league will start putting a premium on stretch fours that can defend. Our team last year suffered on the defensive end when Asik sat. Now, we will have a top ten defense on the floor at all times, plus a better offense w some ability to post up Dwight. Garcia is going to get a very nice deal next year, from us.
did garcia really play at the 4 in the playoffs? i don't recall.. i thought he was guarding durant and parsons was playing at the 4
This is awesome, he'l be getting some really valuable mins coming off the bench. Lin/Beverley/Canaan Harden/Anderson Parsons/Garcia/Casspi Jones/Motiejunas/Smith Howard/Asik/Ohlbrecht Roster depth filling out nicely.
hard to tell. he and durant were guarding each other. both teams had one rebounder and 4 shooters on the floor. in today's nba the positions are becoming more blended. it seams everyone can be a 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5. it seems like we are moving towards skill sets rather than positions based on height or who you guard. its moving now towards something like ball handler, wing player, post player. most teams have one post player with 2 wings and 2 ball handlers.
Love Garcia. I thought we'd lost him for good. Never thought he would sign for cheap. Well, if he plays as good as he did in the last playoffs the whole season, then it's almost for sure he'll opt out and ask for more money.
Hate to say it (not really :grin, but I told you so. However, I would have preferred Delfino to Casspi.
