Awesome, Amazing, but can't be completed till after we sign Howard. So SnT is out and we have no cash to sign anyone else for more than the minimum. Sorry Canaan and Kostas, 490,000 it is. Bad for us because they will have no bird rights on those guys and I think both are keepers but at least we can still sign a vet like Billups or Jamison. That wraps up are squad pretty much. Centers: Howard, Asik, G Smith Power Forwards: DMo and TJones Covington Small Forward: Parsons, Garcia and Kostas Shooting Guards: Harden and Billups/Matt Barnes/Rip Hamilton Point guards: Lin, Beverly, Canaan I am assuming we have to dump Anderson and Ohlbrecht to sign Howard but we can resign them back to 1 yr deals after howard is signed. Which gives us a 15 man roster and we are done for now and ready to begin the season. Of course someone could shine in the summer league and we could pick them up instead. A few minor tweaks but from last years contributing squad it looks like we are only losing Delfino. We had to dump Trob and White and release Brooks but really those guys weren't contributing and we get Kostas and Canaan as upgrades plus the best free agent of the summer. Not bad Morey. Actually I am very impressed. There was a very fine line Morey had to follow to make all of this happen and he did it almst flawlessly. Not just manage all of it but coming out ahead in almost every way. We have garcia for 5 mil for 2 years that's a steal. We get 4 second rounders and Kostas and Canaan for the Minimum. And we get Howard for nothing. This a championship team in the making. I would be surprised if we are not in the WC finals.
So what do we need now? We have: Lin/Bev Harden/?? Parson/Garcia Dmo/Tjones Howard/Asik We lacking a backup SG and need a starting caliber PF Trade Asik+ Dmo or TJones for PF and a Defensive minded SG
This is great news! I'm having a difficult time believing Garcia is coming back for league minimum. Seems too good to be true. I really though he'd draw about $6 million/2 yrs in the market. So...this is a dirt cheap deal. Incredible.

Excellent! Love what Cisco brings to the table: excellent shooting, good defense, and an awesome vet presence for the locker room. I have a feeling a lot of guys are going to be coming for cheaper now that Dwight is here...
I think since Garcia spent his whole career in the ****hole that is the Kings organization that he will do anything (take a pay cut) to not be in that environment again.
