Robinson was flipped. Patterson salary needed to be traded as he was taking up cap space needed for Dwight.

Hopefully we can do Lin/Asik/Jones or Motiejunas / one of the foreign players we have for Teague/Smith/Korver?

Would that even work? Maybe not with Korver, but if you take out Korver, seems like a fair trade.

I think Josh Smith is a possibility if its a straight up trade or with D-Mo included.

Jack... No chance. I think they'll keep Lin over Jack.

Doc Rocket has certainly been on fire recently. I'm sure Dwight might take less money but not in the millions like you're thinking. I did the new salary calculations a couple of pages back and discovered if we waive Anderson and Ohlbrecht but keep Beverley and G.Smith we will be about $300,000 short, hence Dwight taking less than max.

Someone said they heard Hakeem and Les talking about Jack before the Dwight meeting.

I really hope there's something to these Smoove rumors. People can harp on the streaky jumper all they want, but this kid is an elite defender. One of the few cats in the L that has a legitimate chance of guarding LeBron. You can always find shooters, but how many guys can play at an elite level at both the 3/4, can start the break, and run a mean big man pick and roll? Just imagine McHale and Dream shoring Smoove and D12 up, while we leave the deep jumpers to Harden, Parsons and Co.

I say trade Lin, this is about winning a championship and the rockets can't sell themselves short. The heat will eat Lin alive. You got to look at the team that you trying to dethroned and put together a team that will get the job done.

I agree with you, most great Championship Teams had one great defender outside of their center...Rodman, Bowen, Pippen, ect. Smith is that and more. He'd be our Sefolosha, Deng. or Ibaka with the ability to drive and score.

So, you saying keep lin, a guy who been hurt the last 2 playoff series, can't handle pressure and you expect him to go through a grueling playoff series. You're the r****d.

Maybe the Heat just do a good job of containing PG's? You know, like when they ate up Lowry, forcing him into a 0-7, 0pt/3ast kind of night. It happens to a lot of PG, not just Lin.

With Milsap to Atlanta, any chance we get Smith now? Doubt they still need Asik with Horford and Milsap.

If we get JSmoove, we are going from championship contender to start engraving the Rockets in the Larry O'Brien award.

A mediocre remark. I hope the rockets don't follow suit. Don't sell short, build a champion.

Jeremy came undrafted and is still young. He can improve.

You can hate on him when he is 27 and is still a 12 pt 5.5 assist guy.

Yeah, Mario Chalmers is certainly going to eat Lin alive.

Dude, both of our games against the Heat last year were pretty close. Jeremy got eaten by the Heat back in New York because he was the New York offense. They can't do what they did to him when we have Harden, Parsons and Howard (and maybe Smith!?) who are all pretty big offensive threats.
