I hope Iggy enjoys rejecting $12 million more for nothing

I think the Wolves will take their playoff spot if they are healthy.

Yea, I've never seen a successful team blow up like this, from HC and management all the way down to best player.

For his career, Iguodala averages 15.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists ... His scoring avg has been on gradual decline since 07-08 tho

Might as well do what they should have done years (? how long has it been since the Melo trade? feels like a decade.) and just tank.

Assuming they still own their own first it's the perfect year for it. They had a great season but Ty, Iggy, and Galo was just never going to be enough to get it done. They need to trade remaining assets for future firsts, and just tank hard. As hard as they possibly can.

Great signing by GSW. They lacked a critical wing defender throughout the season. Iggy address that for them. Folks seem to forget that they beat a competitive Denver team and how close they came to deposing the WC champ Spurs during the playoffs without Lee. That being said, they lost Jack and Landry. 2 players that were extremely productive for them.

For those people wondering why they'd give up all those picks, it's because they're looking to go all in this season. They're looking for immediate contributors to fill their roster rather than develop more young talent. I expect our team to do the same.

Utah needed to fill in the cap space and they came out with a great deal. They positioned themselves well by not resigning Millsap, A. Jefferson, and Mo Williams and taking on toxic salaries that they can easily afford. Between the last draft, all of their young players, and a boatload of acquired 1st and 2nd round picks, they should be an entertaining team to watch with room to grow. They'll be lotto dwellers for a few years, but they're positioned well moving forward if they get lucky in the draft or manage to parlay a combination of all those picks into a franchise player.

Denver just lost it. I don't know if this is by design or just poor management but they're definitely not going to be the same team going into next season. They let go of 2 of their starters, lost Karl, and Ujiri. Their roster's in limbo like the post Mutombo years, which is basically the worst place any team can be in. Too good to suck and too sucky to compete with players entering their prime. I don't know if Shaw and former Pelicans assistant GM Connely can create a miracle with this roster. It's a shame, I thought they got the better part of the deal that sent out Melo but it seems like they've squandered their chance at an impressive rebuild with a promising Ujiri. I can only imagine what their hard core fans are thinking now.

Seems to me they mortgaged their future and lost Jack for Iggy. Not worth it in my opinion....not for a team that already has quality wings.

GSW blogger I follow on Twitter is killing them.

    Terrible signing.

No one has to worry about the Warriors now. They will be a playoff team but with many 1st round/2nd round exits.

    They have become so overrated.

This. Jack was a great insurance policy for Curry and they actually play really well when they're on the floor together. Also, why pay Iggy so much when you have Barnes who should be getting heavy minutes.

Didnt they give up a 2nd rounder or two also?

Yes, I believe they gave up two 2nd rounders as well. Kerr is right, that's a lot to give up for Iggy.

So, who will be coming off the bench...Barnes or Iggy?

Neither are playing PF unless Warriors trade Lee.

I still think it was a bad signing for the Warriors, considering what they had to give up.

I am not sure I would have done Jack + Landry -> Iggy strait up. Much less all those picks. They have essentially mortgaged all their near term picks without really getting better.

They must have thought Dwight was on the horizon. Would have been a win had that happened, but it didnt.
