The best scenario for the sognings should be: 1. Sign Josh Smith to an Igouodala type contract using the cap space with a clear clause of voiding the contract if the Lakers finaly back out of a Sign&Trade. 2. Sign & trade of Dwight from the Lakers for a 2015 first & one of the second from Portland. 3. Trade Asik for Ryan Anderson + first. then we'll be ready to go against any team in the world. We can let Jeremy start the season and upgrade later if need be.
Posted this in the Bulls forum. So I've asked around to what has happened with Broussard and all these other sources from ESPN and other multiple outlets. Apparently, Broussard had a source he felt confident enough in which told him everything was 50-50 and Dwight had switched his mind. Dwight actually did tell someone in his "inner" circle this. He also told a bunch of other people in his circle different things which were flat out incorrect to find out who was leaking what to the media. SAS comes in as he directly contacted Dwight. He's friends with a lot of players in the league and takes care of them, and for that, he gets a lot of exclusives which come directly from the players. Players are not comfortable with him for whatever reason and they usually just use him as a muse to deflect attention. I kind of feel sorry for Broussard because he came out of today looking terribly bad.
