Maybe the talk about an Anderson deal is more about getting Smith to lower his asking price, rather than putting pressure on Atlanta, or a genuine interest in the guy, the idea being that Smith would really like to play with his buddy Dwight, and be part of a "Big Three." And I agree that Anderson alone is not fair value for Asik. Maybe it ends up being a multi-team deal of some kind. Who knows what Morey might do?

dmo is anderson lite? hmmm... just cause they both white ? anderson's light years ahead of dmo at this point.
Are you guys stupid or something. Do you ever keep up with the NBA?? Vasquez has been traded to the Kings already. Lin hater!
exactly. he's too daam good to trade just for ryan. a starting center than can defend and rebound and avg a double double will always be better than a stretch 4 (who's below average rebounder for his size)
Josh Smith does well on everything EXCEPT one thing...he can't shoot...which is what the team need. He's horrible at the foul line (a bit better than Howard) but still horrible. He's also horrible at 3pt shot...shooting 30% or sub 30% through his career...he's way worst than Jeremy at the 3pt. He's not the ideal PF the Rockets need. The rockets have been looking for a PF that can spread the floor...that's why you see coach put him Delfino and Motiejo, Patrick Patterson and experience w/ all type of PFs and I believe they still have not found one that can shoot consistently at the 3. If you think Lin isn't shooting well at the 3, Josh Smith is even worst. Lin shooting about 34% from three, Josh 28% career avg (basically he has no 3), Parsons 39%, Harden 34%. This guy Ryan Anderson shoot about 38%-39%. So, it's obvious Anderson fit the team better....but does he play defense? Can he guard someone like Tim Duncan and Zach Randolph because we're going to be playing those guys and we need guys who can defend. I think Asik worth more than Anderson. Maybe we can get Dirk for Asik or something lol..how about Adridge.

Ok Ryan Anderson is NOT your big 3 answer. And maybe this has been answered but why would NO wants to do this? Would they move Davis to the 4?
I'd love to get Ryan Anderson. He has already proved he is a great fit w/ Dwight Howard. PBev Harden Parsons Anderson Dwight
Only in one aspect = shooting. D-Mo is a better defender and rebounder (2 essential parts of basketball that no one seems to give a damn about anymore)
Asik for Anderson, Lin + DMo for Smith. PG Beverly / Canaan SG Harden / Garcia SF Parsons / PF Smith / Anderson / Jones C Howard / Smith
Now THAT would make sense. Maybe a third team, it's too bad Lin isn't the world beater the LOFs make him out to be or we could get this done.
