i think this is all on the media. my guess is dwight hasn't decided a damn thing. of course media all get worked up trying to be first.

exactly. It sucks that the same media then tries to protect themselves and claim Howard is flaky. Completely unfair.
I just want to say this, I think Howard is going to cave, and go to the...Lakers. I'm a huge Laker-hater, and I hope I'm wrong, but this doesn't make any sense. Just think, would he really announce he's going to Houston, and then give Lakers hope by saying he is still undecided, just to crush their hope again by saying yes, he is going to Houston. So yeah, I hate to say, and I HOPE I'm wrong, but I now think he's going to the Lakers. Sucks, but oh well.

I can't understand why Dwight is getting **** for this. He never announced anything. Everything has been through "sources." For all we know, Dwight has always been 50/50 and the last few hours were full of ****. And even if he was sure and changed his mind, he never announced it. Lets not talk **** about Dwight and blame espn and reporters looking to break the story first instead of getting it right, if this is indeed the case.

Bringing out my inner Doc Rocket here..... Dwight is being a silly goose. Geese chill by lakes. They leave the lake, BUT ALWAYS COME BACK. Dwight is signing with the Astros.
Guys, stop freaking out...this is like all those guys that got scared about the Warriors. Dwight is coming to Houston. This is just PR for two reasons. First, he wants to announce he's a Rocket instead of USA Today announcing it. Second, he's showing Laker fans that it was such a tough decision.
I hope your wrong, but I sort of agree with you. Even if he hadn't said anything, but he wanted to play for the Rockets, then why not just go with it? He has nothing to lose by just accepting it and going forward.
