Spread the floor, more space for D12 and the backcourt to operate. It's a good choice and it's good that there is competition for Asik.
no anderson please... we can just sign one in free agency or something, no need to give up Omer for that dude!
Getting Anderson for offense to complement Dwight and lose out on Defense is a lot better than getting defense with Josh Smith, living with his terrible 3 point shooting and paying him like 14M a year.
Vasquez can't defend at all. yeah we got Howard but we need one of the two backcourt positions to be well defended.
Remember, Josh is Dwight's close friend. Ryan is not. Dwight has no close links to him apart from a professional standpoint.
pretty weak on defense...i would rather have smith and lin instead of andersen and calderon...DEFENSE RULES...
6.4 rebounds is decent for a guy that shot 47 more threes than Harden last year. He's still a monster compared to Bargnani, and maybe Dwight's presence in the paint can make up for his soft defense.
I do like that he won't hinder Harden/Lin penetration. And no, I didn't watch any NO Hornets games that weren't against the Rockets. I could be wrong, but it's hard for me to get excited about him.
A forward that can shoot, hmm he kinda reminds me of novak with a little rebounding ability and D, with that being saying Smooth will be much more of a impact on the floor. Defense wins championships, especially when it comes to facing the Heat. Go big or go home.
