For some of you, posting anything positive about another team is now "douchey." People in the thread were saying that no way GSW is more attractive, no way Curry is as good as Harden, no way Lakers would consider S&T, etc. I just said that I disagreed-- that GSW was a serious threat according to the facts that we knew. And you people call it "douchey." I never said it was 100% GSW because I wouldn't know what Dwight thinks exactly, I was just being objective rather than joining the "We are the only team with chance to land Dwight and circle jerk."

Essentially Dwight would sign with the Lakers to get them some sort of compensation from the Rockets, but I don't feel like he owes them anything. He only played a year there, they won't play the basketball that suits his skill set and had he to tolerate Jellybeans kid for an entire season.

He should just move on, but I must say if this is what he's doing its a classy move from a Lakers perspective.

If he wants LA to get a trade exception, and that is all, fine. But Dwight would be defeating his winning chances by taking any players from us.

Dwight's meeting with Kupchak? Something along the lines of this.

    I third this motion.

I suspect that he would rather be right even if it hurts the franchise we so loyally love.

Sign and trade asik and lin to lakers......sign josh smith outright. I think we only do this if atlanta does not cooperate.

in all fairness, DD never went against the team and was always sincere about wanting the best for the rockets. CH on the other hand has probably been keeping a voodoo doll against us hoping trob would fail here and not get traded, and then today in the 720page thread basically praying out loud that GS had landed dwight. DD would NEVER do that.

If the Rockets are bringing in Smith or someone else, it doesn't really matter which guy comes in a S&T, does it? Howard getting a trade will help the Rockets' other deals.

This would defeat LA's attempt at max cap room for 2014.

He's gone way past DaDakota. He was openly rooting for the Lakers earlier this season and against the Rockets. To him, the Lakers have the hearts of champions and treat their players like human beings, while we were big ol meanies by treating Patterson like an asset. DD was an egomaniac, but he didn't want us to fail.
