I believe the Rockets have enough cap to sign him outright. No need to send the Fakers anything. Now if it is something that is mutually beneficial then maybe.
riiiight. in the 500+ page thread you've been posting the same bs nonstop (mostly without your in-the-end-face-saving-question marks). you require some time off to reflect on your sad state as a member here.
What did I post? That GSW could be an attractive team to Dwight if they could make the right S&T deal? That Steph Curry would be a player that Dwight Howard may really want to play with? Are these things not allowed to be mentioned? It's been reported by ESPN and other sources that Dwight Howard was impressed with the GSW presentation and it was reported that he had HOU and GSW as his top 2. The things I pointed out are legitimate things to consider. I also pointed out plenty of things favoring Houston: GSW may not be able to get enough cap space or the right S&T done so that they remain attractive to Howard. I said that trading away big contracts, even expiring, tend to be very costly (GSW got a really good deal from Utah, I think). I said that Houston has more depth of talent and trade assets than GSW, especially if they have to make cap moves to acquire Howard. You people only notices the perceived "negative" posts and ignore the ones favoring the Rockets chances. I've always given my honest takes and at least tried to be objective both now and in the past-- whether it's about Juwan Howard, Yao Ming, Rafer Alston, Battier, Gay, Patterson, Robinson, Golden State, Harden, Lin or Asik. You people got sensitive because of the arguments over me not agreeing that Robinson was some sort of super prospect steal rather than overrated damaged goods. Then you start attributing every comment from me that isn't glowingly praising the Rockets to being resulted from me being upset at the trade. If you want to steer every discussion that way, fine. I just don't see a point.
yeah you backtracked on crash5179 in the big thread as well.....saying he was being too 'sensitive' after you basically littered that thread with a series of douchey posts regarding GSW. maybe you're bipolar or something.
I think the most likely explanation is that he doesn't want to burn bridges. By the time Dwight is a free agent again, the entire Lakers' roster will be overhauled, and MDA will probably be gone.
