They going all in, respect to the Warriors! I can see the headlines now: Lakers agree to S&T Howard to Warriors for Klay, Barnes & Bogut + 3 first round picks in future.
Morey has to have a deal for Smith in pocket to land Dwight but it will probably now cost us a first rounder. Smh.

Why does everyone think this? Are you all forgetting just how delusional the Lakers organization and fans are about their history and standing in the NBA? They don't give a s***. They think they'll just be able to create a new contender in 2014. They probably actually believe they're getting 2 of LeBron, Melo, Paul George, Tony Parker., etc. Don't assume the Lakers wouldn't make the deal with GSW just because they don't want to facilitate another contending team. They'll do it and assume they'll be back on top in no time.
I think since LAL are dealing with a inter-state rival they will ask more. I think (hope) they try to gut that team of Barnes AND Klay and with Bogut. I mean they aren't going to make it easy for the Warriors either way.

Guy's be cautious about this. I have worked locally in the private jet business for over 20 years and have done charters for both the owner of this plane and Les Alexander. What I can tell you is Les does not own a plane. He charters and is very savvy about it. I'm not aware of any connection between these two, but that doesn't mean it's not possible. I can tell you many flights go between Houston and Aspen every day. Just pump the brakes here.
If its up to the lakers now they can drag this process into next week screwing us out of free agency all together. Josh Smith will not last very long and even if he does we may end up overpaying because then he will be the prized free agent.
