If they keep Thompson and Curry they still have two of the best shooters in the league. Iggy is inconsistent at best...also Lee is a stretch 4.

Equation is simple. Dwight can't do a sign and trade to GSW without Lakers agreeing to accept their package. Lakers have all the leverage there and would want a lot including probably bogut, barnes, klay. Getting Iggy makes no sense unless we assume that one or both of these guys are being moved. Their core is now Lee/Iggy/Curry and maybe klay or barnes. That vs Rox who have Harden/Parsons/ asik and lin as their core. If we can do a third player like josh smith, it would be Harden/Smith/Parsons and we would be forced to ship out both Lin and Asik to make room for an max offer to dwight. Honestly, i am thinking that dwight is goin to GsW

Who knows if there are other real valuable picks in the GSW to Utah package, but why wouldn't Morey be on the phone and offer White's contract, cash, and one of the 2nds from Utah for Murphy and McNeal? Rockets save $1.2M which immediately gives them enough for Dwight outright and it submarines the Warriors.
Dwight probably doesn't want to come here because everyone is telling him this is where he should come.
