It looks like Utah was just trying to get to minimum salary without making any long term commitments.
Many of you guys are r****ded. Just a few minutes ago you were elated when Woj tweeted that GSW would be out of the race. Now you guys are already wishing Dwight luck in the bay area because Woj back-tracked a little bit. Stop being so dramatic.
Why would they help a team in their conference then? They would have to help GSW. The Rockets don't need help, so nothing the Lakers can do about that.
Because it's not a favorable deal and historically, low 1st round picks haven't netted this large of a salary dump.
The league doesn't own any of the teams involved, therefore they have no grounds to block it for basketball reasons, Einstein.

If Dwight preferred Houston to GSW all this time, he'd have announced by now. Clearly his side has been stalling hoping for GSW to get their deals done. If LAL is willing to S&T, then its logical to assume that the Warriors got him. Hopefully the Rockets can still recover from this. Its kind of tragic that their years of preparation may have been trumped by a few days of aggressive maneuvering by the Warriors.
How has Dwight not announced yet. Is he really waiting on GoldenState and the Lakers to come to an agreement?

Would love for him to play for HOU
