We can hope for Dwight to tell the Lakers to send him to GSW or he comes to Houston...and then hope the Lakers call that bluff, which would mean more days for his decision.
I'm honestly at a loss for words as to why Utah would want to do this trade. The only logical conclusions are either A) they wanted to screw over the Lakers, or B) they wanted to screw over the Rockets. And, I guess you could say there's a C) as well - they wanted to screw over both franchises. Just awful.
If Howard doesn't sign with us, this will be the same old story for Houston sports teams trying to woo FA only to get played.
I suppose this deal helps Utah hit the salary floor without handicapping them going forward, as most of those deals (all?) are expiring.
This is like the Brandon Roy draft, where we are on the verge of winning, but at the last minute another team swoops in and snatches it away.

Utah is Walder Frey. Not significant enough to ever be relevant, but slimy and evil enough to pull cheap tricks just because they can.
Its about as current as the time I heard it a minute before sending it. That's why its called updates
