Michael Dugat @mdug now Woj w/ the other foot. Again, move for Iggy is perfectly compatible with next move being SnT for Dwight, with Barnes or Klay now expendable

I don't understand why Utah did that trade? They didn't receive anything of value. Are they BFF with the Warriors GM and wanted to do him a favor?? Doesn't make sense otherwise.
Iggy to GSW is bad news for us because it makes their team better and more flexible. As they stand, they have a nice starting unit with Barnes off the bench. They can still technically S&T for Howard, however unlikely (b/c of Laker luxury tax situation) or make other moves. I think though that this development is mostly good for Rox fans. We now have to be huuuuge frontrunners to land D12, and can add pieces like J-Smith. I think that probably makes our core better than GSW. Plus - and here's the real kicker - it gives Morey more leverage in a S&T scenario with the Lakers... again, assuming they don't want to pay whatever the tax is for Bogut. He is free to dangle what he needs to clear cap room, and they can take it or leave it, and he can shop Asik/Lin elsewhere or straight up S&T with ATL. Lol, I know this post will appear 5 pages down from the one I'm on (622) at the rate y'all are posting (and probably be obsolete with the rate news breaks), but this bonanza brings out the best in all us long-time lurkers.

Houston was always Dwight's backup since yesterday's report broke that GSW was dumping salary. Oh well. Goodbye Dwightmare.
It seems like they could still clear capspace for him, and signing Iggy only makes them more appealing. Why would they drop out? They could still dump Lee, Jefferson, Biedrins, Bogut, Barnes, and possibly Klay Thompson to make room. Golden State could be the scariest team in the league. I bet Atlanta would accept Bogut and Barnes for not much more than picks and filler. Bogut is expiring, allows Horford to play PF and Barnes has value -- why is signing Iggy the death knell?
