I still want to know what the GS and Warriors final deal is. What sweetners did GS offer up with RJ and Biedrins? No way Utah is just taking them for nothing.

Exactly, this might have been so they can trade one of Barnes or Thompson and Bogut to LA.

They gave up picks to move Biedrins and Jefferson.

Could this be what is happening?

Lakers were asking for Barnes and Thompson.

    Add Bogut = 19 million.

Warriors big 3 : Curry, Iggy, Dwight

GSW guaranteed payroll is around 70M.

Bogut didn't contribute much last season due to injury.

If they want to re-sign Jack & Landry, while avoiding the tax, salary has to be dumped.

My thoughts as well, but they would likely need to offer Klay + Barnes with Bogut to get LA to bite. I think those three salaries would put them in the ballpark if LA was interested.

Andre to GSW was genius. They cleared players who weren't getting them to the next level and are possibly getting more better players???? Very good move GSW.

FYI I still believe Dallas is in the mix.

its about getting the best deal. so should lakers let howard walk? or getting junk players from houston when they can potentially get barnes, klay and bogut?

I don't want to question Woj but why is Golden State out of it? Can't they just deal Bogut + Barnes/Klay easily now with Iggy there to replace either one?

Barnes was never a starter. The line up is still

    Curry
    Thompson
    Iggy
    Lee
    Bogut.

Bima says technically but the Warriors were never really in it. It takes two to tango and that California Tango is not to Howard's liking. Plus just read Woj's tweet, he says that clears the way for long standing front runner Houston. Bima's numbers may be right but it only means what he said, technically they can but in reality that ship never was close to docking.
