it shouldn't. if you listen to him on the radio, you know that he's waiting on news like the rest of us. he was debating whether or not he should go to a movie and turn his phone off today or not...he's just waiting for updates.
His camp never said there would be a Friday announcement. Not sure why people are saying Friday. Today means nothing other than a Rebecca Black song.
It's not his fault we've succumbed to the vile age of twitter. If we're in this position on July 20, I'm right there with you, but I don't begrudge him taking until the 10th, which is what he originally promised. July 10th: the first day he can officially sign. Nothing wrong with that.

FWIW I just saw Hakeem at the lifetime fitness in Sugar Land. I asked him if Dwight was coming he said "we'll see, looks like it." (No I didn't get a picture)

Marc Stein is shooting down the Marc Stein report that Andrew Bogut is being shopped. "Not true," says Marc Stein.

We need to put all these "insider" tweets in a thread, and laugh at them after Dwight makes his decision, whoever he chooses.
I heard him talk about this this morning. All it is is he said it would be his luck that, as soon as he's doing something other than waiting for news on D12 (like going to his movie today), then that's when it will actually happen. He's not saying THAT'S WHAT WILL HAPPEN, he was being sarcastic.
