Very possible. Although considering how big of a story this is, I would imagine many would still keep their phones busy. Just like having a more normal job and working during the holidays to make a deadline.
Today's announcement is only a speculation of reporters man. Dwight's camp enver said anything about a deadline so theres a chance that we're just waiting in vain atm.

I believe that the Warriors are scrambling to get room for Dwight so they are ready if he chooses them. I do not believe Dwight has told any teams that he is leaning one way or another. Reporters got wind of GS's activity and ran with it.

I'm glad to see someone has a strong understanding of how this works, instead of spouting crap like bias against Houston, making up rumors, etc. I agree there is always bias in these things, but a lot of unfounded rumors and speculation come from either purposely-fed bad info or stretching that info bc of bias.

It's not going to happen. Why on earth would Detroit, Atlanta, etc take a garbage player with a draft pick that will range from 20-28? Then consider, the next team that makes a deal has to wait until 2016 to get a Warrior pick. then the third team 2018. The media just has nothing else to talk about. The Warriors can't accomplish this without giving up Thompson, Barnes or both. Period. The media is blowing serious smoke right now.

Yeah, agreed, so it's not a "big" story yet, but still might have legs nonetheless. And reporting a minor story (at this point) may not merit getting up off the couch, off the beach, or putting down the margarita as web traffic and TV viewership will do down big today regardless. Reports did state he'd possibly be making his decision today though so you'd think the big guns would be armed and ready to go... unless they've already pre-written their stories for each scenario and will simply support that content with a few quick tweets.
