What does he mean CLEARING cap space?? What cap space have they presently cleared? NONE. They're TRYING to clear cap space.....this Heisler guy is trying to make it sound like it's a done deal.

And as far as Simmons' tweet goes....tell me this. Why the bloody HELL would the Lakers be willing to pay an enormous Repeater's Tax just to help Golden State out? Is Klay Thompson and a super low first rounder really worth THAT much?

The media is going full r****d and it's starting to piss me off.

Yep, just what other teams want to do.... take on crappy players and contracts for their team just to stick it to the Lakers.

Never heard a player announce he was going to sign with a team, that can't actually sign him until making moves.. What if he announces that, and they can't clear space? Is just smarter to wait to say that, if he was going there.

He needs to freaking grow up, is what he needs to do. His life will be better off when he learns he can't please everyone.

Of course. But he should have known this months ago. He will get bashed no matter what he does.

He needs to understand that it will simmer over time (same way with LeBron). And that "best fit" over the long term is more important. Day to day Howard wil be more happy with a great team environment like in Houston.

If he goes to Golden State, imagine the "Hack a ____" wars we will have with them in the future.

Its highly probable that Harden tired out, I'm not arguing that. But its hard to argue that Curry didn't outplay Harden in the post season. As for "help", the only real "help" Curry had was Thompson. Barnes contributed sometimes, but so did Delfino and Garcia. Where was his all star PF in the series? Right.. on the bench. You are deluding yourself if you think defenses weren't focused in on Curry.

Harden had Parsons who some is arguing is better than Thompson.

If we had Curry in that playoffs series, instead of a "tired" as you want to call it Harden, we would've at least made it to the 2nd round. I'm just being completely objective, if you want to continue making excuses for Harden then thats fine for me.

S&T Asik, Jones and White for Smith (12 mill a year) then cut Anderson, Ohlbrecht. Sign Howard for near max.

    Lin/Beverly
    Harden
    Parsons
    J.Smith/Motiejunas
    Howard/Smith

Blows warriors out all day everyday. Warriors after clearing up space would only have a injury prone Lee and Curry with no team.

Other teams already know their cap situation and are trying to pry away Barnes and Thompson, lol

There's only 3 teams left that haven't agreed to use up enough of their cap space and aren't in dwightmare anyway.

Actually I think, if there was a leak then thats exactly what got leaked out. Howard camp probably told them that if they can clear all the bad contracts out and still keep Curry/Klay/Barnes on the roster then he will be interested.

You know....this GSW attempt could really work in our favor if they dump a bunch of players, and can't quite get enough space, or alter the roster so much that Dwight its turned off.

They damage their team (beyond losing Landry and possibly Jack), and we gain Dwight.

    I'd be down with that.

I hate this. Seems like it is all falling apart. My ultra-minor contribution to this massive thread.
