Warriors obviously have the better talent on their team, but Rockets have better management, and the best player out of the two teams. You gotta play with the best players you can to win a ring.
I don't think GS is really a factor. They are doing their due diligence just in case Dwight picks them for some reason. So they are making calls. They would be stupid not to. However, only one team has actually made a move to get Howard, and that team is us. Morey would not have moved Trob for a bag of chips, if he wasn't more than 80 percent sure Howard is coming to the rockets. This wait is a cover-up for the all-star meeting.
My sister in-law's talking parrot just told me Dwight is in the Ecuadorian Embassy with Julian Assange. He plans to spend the weekend there and then finally make his decision. Rumor has it he will team up with Snowden on the Mavort Quito basketball team in Ecuador.
I'd argue against the Warriors having better talent... also they are one curry ankle roll from being non-factors.
It's 9:30 Colorado time. I don't think we'd hear anything today until at least afternoon Colorado time. So maybe 4 hours at the earliest? That's if he announces anything while he's there.
Part of me wants to this to end, but part of me doesn't want it to end just yet. All this trolling and panic is funny.
I think this is a highly debatable statement if your talking about post-Howard acquisition. GS will give up a lot of pieces to move those contracts, Rockets can add a LMA or Smith type of player by moving Asik perhaps. So I think the Rockets then have better talent around GS.
Well first of all he had that drinking session or whatever with Stephen Curry at 3am.. (cant be bothered to dig up the tweet) and the warriors must have pretty firm indicators from the Howard camp that he is serious about going there for them to actually put forth a strong effort to move all those massive contracts at this last minute. If the Warriors management didn't think Dwight had genuine interest with them, they wouldn't be committing themselves to these extremely unlikely scenarios of moving contracts for gigantic capspace. and Morey has been in hot pursuit of Dwight for such an extended period now, there has been no public announcement or reports that Dwight was actively interested in Houston. Brooklyn/Los Angeles have been a bulk part of those discussions, not Houston.

Don't think this was actually true, just Pendergast trolling. Dwight is in Colorado. If Curry is with him then I'd say it's a lock he's going to the Warriors. But don't think he is.
Howard's camp is locked in and silent, I don't think they are leaking anything to anyone. All of the these media outlets are shooting blanks, methinks.
