So in the once in a blue moon chance I found a Harden/Houston jersey in Sydney (it's just clippers/lakers/celtics/Miami etc here) I couldn't help but die inside at how bad this tshirt sleeve cutoff look is. It really doesn't even look like a basketball jersey, and frankly the cut of the other teams, (particularly Clippers) is a lot more aesthetically pleasing and more comfortable. I'm a pretty decently sized human by normal people standards, but not everyone has the shoulders of Yao Ming. I don't mind ordering the alternate online, frankly colour/cut is much better anyway but it's really time to do away with this. rant over
It reminds me of those horrible Sixers jerseys from the Iverson era. They were shiny and looked really heavy.
I really hope someone in the organization reads this thread and realizes how fugly the cut of the uniforms are. And the rings. Those damn rings on the side! Terrible.

Yes our cut is very wide, but the Adidas replicas are all cut way wider than the game jerseys. Adidas replicas are terrible and all look like the aforementioned sixers cut.
even still the replicas for the other teams actually look normal. but the above is just really pushing it lol.
I would never spend a dime for a Rockets jersey. Well I did purchase a MerGady one a long time ago for an ex-gf... but would never spend another cent on our uniforms since.
Shorter sleeves & remove one (if not both) of the rings = pretty darn good jersey. It's like they don't even get people to try the replicas on to see how they look before they're mass produced and shipped everywhere. SMH.
Almost as if the designers made one for Yao and his wide as hell shoulders, and then were like, "eh, fuxk it."
Don't worry OP, if Dwight signs with us and Morey somehow pulls J.Smoove too I think the Rockets get new jerseys for a new era. That's what I'm going to assume and hope for
I'm really disappointed that we didn't announce a jersey-change for next season. The idea of having Dwight here with our current team, battling it out deep in the playoffs in those hideous, disgusting blouses, makes me want to do bad things to myself. I'm still holding out hope that plan B comes true, and we go full-time to our alts while adding a home uniform in the same design.
I'm pretty sure we missed the deadline to apply for that. The teams that made the deadline are New Orleans (obviously) and Phoenix. Hopefully a minor switch (to our alts) doesn't apply to that rule.
Yeah I don't know when it is but if we were getting new Uni's we would've known a while ago (Like New Orleans or Phoenix). Usually someone gets a hold of an adidas catalogue for the next season and you can see from there who is getting changes.
