If Houston is such an obvious choice - why hasn't he decided yet? Does it mean he has some reservations about us? Doesn't like the city, organization, players? Maybe he doesn't think we are the best fit. From the delay, I think there's something he doesn't like or the other "stuff" is just too important to him.
When life comes down to a couple of these major choices, you want to be completely sure no matter how obvious the answer may be.
It's Bogut plus either Barnes OR Thompson plus expiring contract of Biedrins and/or Richard Jefferson or some other twerp, dumbos. Playing with All-Universe Steph Curry with EITHER Thompson or Barnes and both Lee or Landry and having a Mark Jackson as a coach is definitely a better deal than playing with iso- Harden and possibly immature Smoove with Chandler 'Justin Bieber' Parsons. GSW will need to be creative to keep Jarret Jack. You idiots are clueless as to how the GSW are real players in the Dwight stakes, the only real way the Lakers can get something and not end up with squat. GSW was the better play off team. Rockets can't compete with those guys. Even with Lee out they played legit! Steph is legit top PG in this league. Harden? I'm not so sure he's top SG, still a ways to go, especially in crunch time. Rockets torched GSW during the regular season but then we traded Patterson and **** hit the fan. I'll give GSW credit for almost winning 3 games against the Spurs but Denver just imploded without Gallinari
GSW pitch to Dwight is that he would be playing with Curry, Thompson and Barnes. I'm not EXACTLY sure how GSW is going to pull it off, but we don't know. The GSW roster has some of the best players to surround Dwight with. And just having Steph Curry play with Dwight as well as having Mark Jackson as coach, a coach that will command respect from Dwight. It's simply the best scenario for Dwightmare. Lot of ways they can pull this off, Lee was an all star and has a big contract. Bogut is still a top center and proved effective in the playoff run. Large expiring contracts in Biedrins and Jefferson. Lots of ways, we'll just have to wait and see. Lakers are hoping that Dwight chooses GSW since it's the only way they will get something. For other teams Dwight just needs to walk.

I agree, Dwight would be a good fit with GSW. But some of your points are bad. The problem is Dwight can't simply sign with GSW. Everyone knows it's not that easy. Having coach Jackson DEMAND respect from Dwight is supposed to be a bonus to Dwight how? Why would that be a selling point for him?
