Not this current stuff. I could be confused as a newbie, but I thought I read here that (1) Doc predicted DH had been a lock to come here for like a year and (2) people started doubting him b/c DH didn't come to us via trade on draft night last year. What was posted above makes it sound as though DH was indeed supposed to come to us back then but didn't due to circumstances involving Kidd-Gilchrist. Ignore me if I'm totally off-base, which is likely. I don't think it has anything to do w/ the current decision, though. Eff it, I'm going to bed.
Cyberx is saying Dwight's camp is locking out everyone. That could mean one of two things. 1) He wants peace and quiet before he makes or announces his decision 2) He is distancing himself from the Lakers and LA so they get the hint. It wont be as big a deal when he announces his decision or come as a shock to them. It helps minimize the backlash.
Check tad brown's twitter. He just recently tweeted doc and Daryl morey in the same tweet. In case you haven't been around long enough, he's the CEO of the rockets (business side).
I think that was unrealistic to begin with. I think some people took it too literally when there were reports of a decision coming on Friday. Sure, Friday officially started at 12:00 a.m., but come on...
you know what kupchak is a grade A asshoole. He has probably been bugging him non stop up there so they just said enough. Thi ******* knew we had an meeting with Dwight, what does he do, he goes in there just before us and probably bad mouthes us. This ******* has karma coming.
If Dwight Howard does sign here, Clutchfans should give him a trophy for being solely responsible for the longest thread in clutchfans history. Knowing Dwight he will act all crazy and goofy when he receives the award. Dave should be presenting it to him of course.
