Another benefit to a S&T to the Lakers involving Lin besides saving Asik for a JSmoove trade is the MLE + BAE.

If Calderon's market price is 3M. That leaves 2M to sign Canaan & the Greek kid. Another 2M from the BAE to sign a vet swingman.

The Greek kid was traded because he wants to play in the NBA this upcoming season. The Blazers didn't want to so his agent requested a trade. His buyout alone is 1.1M? so that would be about 600k of cap deduction tacked onto to his salary.

This is the perfect time for his sensei(The Dream) to call him up and tell him to stop being indecisive and come to Houston.

That allows us to keep some cap space for smith. We get ride of those two salaries and replace it with Dwight, it still allows us to chase a big name like smith.

I think Lakers are floating the GSW rumors to get the Rockets to give up Parsons and picks.

One thing can be deduced from all of this the Lakers are out! (Good a superstar will the leave the Lakers in their prime never been done before)

    Dallas is out.

    Atlanta is out.

It is between Houston and Golden State.

We don't have any assets left other than Parsons and the last thing I would accept is trading Parsons.

DH will probably wait until this afternoon to announce it so that most people are awake.

If you think a team of Curry, Howard, Lee and Thompson isn't going to be a top playoff seed, I don't know what to tell you.

And if you think Orlando helps steer Dwight to his preferred destination, again I don't know what to tell you.

Seeing Chris Palmer's confidence in Dwight staying progressively dwindle is pretty enjoyable.
