At least a 1st round pick. He's a big man with incredible skill that can face up and post up. He's not trash and plenty of teams would want him. Giving up a player with his skillset for free is dumb. Big men like him are always in demand. If the lakers would take a 1st and plus matching contracts, i'd take both gasol and howard.

At times you have to be honest with yourself and ask if this is the kind of guy that can take you to the promised land. He is a mentally weak individual. But at the same time, he is the best of whats out there. Rockets have the best chance to contend if they do get him vs. if they dont and spend their $$ on what else is available. Even if the Rockets DO end up getting Dwight Howard, my tone throughout his stay here will be one of "cautiously optimistic." Dwight Howard lacks confidence and therefore, I cant really be confident in a team led by him.
first off cyberx doubter he has the first one to break the positive feeling Dwight had after the Warriors meeting. Dwight could be giving more time to the warriors to pull off their trades to dump contracts.
