not only that, he would thrive with a great pick and pop guy like Monroe. Lin is a good guy so if we trade him, I hope we look after him and put him in a situation that he can thrive after he bravely tried to play through pain in the playoffs. He showed some true character and gritt regardless of his performance in game 1
So now we may be looking at losing more than half of our promising starting line-up from last season(Omer, Parsons, Lin) away just to get Dwight? They smile in your face.
unless they can split that 1st pick 3 ways...seems silly to talk about GSW trading away players to free up salary to sign him outright.... Rox can already do this... If he doesnt wanna play for the Rox...just say so dude. Geezus Christ, man! Cut the crap!!!!
This may all be true. But they may also have been unwilling to do so in earnest before not knowing Dwight's thoughts on the Warriors. Now that they sense mutual interest, they may be considering trade scenarios they wouldn't have dreamed of before. I'm not saying its happening or even that its easy. Just that its possible...it only takes a team desperate enough (GS) and 3 (or fewer) teams willing to exploit that desperation.
Not bashing Cyberx at all......but I saw this coming. It was too good to be true to assume Dwightmare could make his mind this early on. This thing is going to drag out until the 10th
Ah geez. He knows he has to make a decision right?! Thanks for the update cyberx! Really appreciate it.
Very true. GS already has a more than capable backup center in Ezeli on a rookie salary. Why the hell would they WANT to pay 9 million dollars next season for a 3rd string center. Same goes with Jefferson. If those players were so easy to move, they wouldn't be in Golden State to begin with. My guess is this whole story is the bring Morey to the table to offer up more assets in a S&T. Morey is probably offering them something like Jeremy Lin and that's it, and LA is trying to get more out of them. The reason why Morey is probably open to a S&T is to get the needed capspace to sign Josh Smith anyways. However they are probably wanting to send Asik to Atlanta instead of Lin. Just my take. I think this is a negotiation tactic. Could be wrong and he goes to Golden State, but I doubt it... just too unlikely unless Dwight doesn't like making money.
LOL, what a child. The Rocket's offer has the advantage is every single aspect. Want Josh Smith? We can make that happen. Want Jose Calderon? We can make that happen. Want the most money? We can make that happen. Want to team up with the best player? We can make that happen. Want the best run organization? We can make that happen. Want to be featured offensively? We can make that happen.
