Nothing new here guys, but my friend (best man at my second wedding...lol) works for channel 13 and is close with David Nuno. (sports anchor) Nuno told him the entire Rockets organization is extremely confident they're getting Dwight AND Josh Smith. Said it should happen tomorrow. (for what that's worth) (although one text he sent me did say "Howard might just want to stay in L.A. 'cause it's L.A."..... but, nothing was said about GS, Dallas or anyone else) He did say that with "Nuno being the avid Houston sports fan that he is, he'll believe it when he sees it". Just wanted to share. (Check my previous posts - not an attention w****... just like all you guys and ready for an answer)
as much as i would HATE to lose chandler id do it if it meant getting LMA BUT i would want Batum in the package
I don't think Parsons necessarily has to go in order to swing Aldridge. They were willing to give him up for Noah so why wouldn't an Asik work? I know they acquired Lopez today but who really wants Robin Lopez as their center?
how long before a celebrity manscaper comes out to meet with dwight's people. this is getting out of hand, barbers, kids and now tattoo artists. make a decision already ahhh
I don't see how you land LMA without giving up Parsons. Obviously Asik brings great value, but not enough to land LMA (most likely in a 3 way trade). If you kick in Parsons I think you have a fair deal. I'd rather sign Smith for Asik, et al and keep Chandler.
Assembling a worthy squad is only part of the equation. A stable locker room, solid coaching, hunger, chemistry and trust are more important than the squad.
Don't recall which post it came from, but GSW apparently sold Dwight on the prospect of playing with Steph, Klay and Barnes. I wonder if taking away one of them would change his thinking. For example, while GSW with all three of these guys may be preferable to Houston in Dwight's mind, having to give up one of them may just tip the scale back in favor of the Rockets.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/jacoby__44">@jacoby__44</a> You'll see tomorrow my friend</p>— Moreno (@Moreno) <a href="https://twitter.com/Moreno/statuses/352993374023860224">July 5, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> I like these random people feeling overtly confident. I really think they may know. This Moreno guy seems pretty powerful. I think Dwight is a Rocket tomorrow.
