    Brown joined the Rockets as vice president of corporate development when construction on the new arena had just begun. He was responsible for overseeing sales activities as well as the naming rights of the new stadium.     My criteria:
    - The "Golden State" era I meant.
    - Its IF they WIN a TITLE (because Rick Barry won a title. Otherwise, not a discussion)
    - I did NOT forget Rick Barry (why I said "big man".) Wilt is in the "Philly/San Fran" period.
    - I DID forget Nate Thurmond though :confused:

    Why would GS want to sign-and-trade, just for the hell of it? I don't think they want to help out an in-state divisional rival, just because. If they had the trade partners, there's no reason not to pull the trigger now.

    This is called a bluff. And anyone with an ounce of common sense can see right through it. Unfortunately, that left Peter Vescey years ago, if he ever had it.
