I'm guessing that Tad is Doc Rocket's source. Doc said the other day before he left that if he wanted to, he can text someone in the room. (Referring to the meeting with Howard) Tad Brown has been rumored (by cyberx and others) to have been saying that Dwight has been a lock for a while... Doc has said the same thing.

That's a complicated trade. what third team would want expiring contracts while under the salary cap?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Source close to <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Warriors&src=hash">#Warriors</a> says they would trade Barnes (+No. 1, Bogut) for <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23D12&src=hash">#D12</a>… Likeliest scenario: <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Lakers&src=hash">#Lakers</a> asked for Curry, or Barnes+Klay</p>— Mark Heisler (@MarkHeisler) <a href="https://twitter.com/MarkHeisler/statuses/352973988470849537">July 5, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Its over! Dwights coming here! Stop this nonsense bout gsw and dallas crap! Tad brown and doc rocket have spoken! ;D
The cynic in me would respond that Tad Brown's main job is to sell season tickets, and putting out a rumor that Dwight Howard will be on the team next year is a great way to do that.
I just can't bring myself to think that the Lakers would ever help facilitate a trade to one of their in-state rivals. They would be crucified if GSW won a title thanks to their S&T.
it ain't over till it's over. I thought for sure Lin was going back to the KNicks, until the rockets raised the poison pill contract.
I would think the work for a very difficult Golden State S&T would take much longer than a day or two. Honestly, I think it would be a miracle to get it done in that time frame.
That Heisler guy is tweeting to another guy who looks to be someone who knows something....certainly tweets confidently that GSW are out...that the guys on their roster they're trying to trade have now found out they're replaceable and not wanted anywhere else at their current price. The guy's current twitter picture is of a yellow sign saying, No Sale. FWIW...maybe nothing.
Rockets should be pretending to be willing to take GSW's expirings if Dwight wants to go there, so they aren't spending their time negotiating with actual suitors.
Wasn't the whole reason we couldn't give Howard the 5 year deal because Lakers couldn't do a sign and trade and take players? How is it that they can do a SnT with GSW now? Did I miss anything?
