All I know is that I want to own the liquor closest to Morey when D12 announces GSW.

Lakers position is really bad in any manner, unless they can resign Dwight.
That Luxury tax is a killer for sure.

Houston seems like the best fit after all

You know what would suck about Dwight to GS more so than us not having him -- what the Laker would get in a sign and trade would make them good, probably even give them a great new foundation.

If GS give LA a pick, Bogut and Barnes, not only are they pretty solid for next season (probably in the playoffs, even with Kobe's injury), they get a good young player in Barnes (who I thought was going to be a bust, but looks really good so far). Now, come next offseason, they are a great destination for free agents and have the cap space to acquire them.

I do not want to see that happen.

If Dwight comes here and the Lakers get nothing then they are a trainwreck this season -- that I would love to see.

Is Dwight using the Warriors as leverage to get us to replace Lin with Calderon?

Lakers are not doing a sign and trade in their own division and no team are taking bad contracts from the Warriors. I know this to be true.

This golden State possibility is real. The Luxury tax the Lakers would have to pay by doing a S&T is still around 80 million dollars, even after they amesty Pau Gasol. the Lakers might actually amesty Kobe to avoid the 4 dollars to 1 Luxury Tax for repeat offenders. Letting go of Dwight Howard would probably be the smartest thing for the Lakers to do to avoid 80 million dollars in Luxury taxes.

I really need to stop refreshing this thread every 5 min. No substantial Dwight info probably until tomorrow.

Well, with Curry/KT performing extremely stellar in the POs who are also both great off-ball and catch-and-shoot guys, I'd prefer GS to Houston with only one star who is over-dominant with ball and exposed in the POs. Frankly, the chance of winning in GS is better as it stands, if Howard goes in a s&t for Bogul+Barnes.
    Howard/Lee/Jefferson/KT/SC with JJack/Biedrins/Ezeli.

    Alex Kennedy = garbage

Dwight doesn't even know who Jose Calderon is.
