28 Days Later is fantastic. Wrestler is overrated IMO but still a very good movie. Never seen Repo Man but have heard good things. Watch 28 Days Later.
I finally finished reading Life of Pi. Thus I only saw the movie recently. I would give it a 8/10. For the most part the movie was faithful to the book.
Seven Psychopaths - 6/10 Was expecting much better with this cast . Movie had it's moments but seemed like someone took the scripts of 7 movies and jumbled it into one
Oz II- 2/10 such a week attempt of a movie. Glad I didn't go to the theater. The original deserved better treatment.
Juan of the Dead – Cuban zombie flick in the vein of Shaun of the Dead. Not nearly as sharp as Shaun but pretty damn funny. Kind of took me by surprise. Plot’s all over the place and effects are kind of cheapy but still worth a watch – B- The Bay – Found this on Netflix Streaming. I’d remembered the trailer and just figured it came and went because it was terrible. Found footage style flick so if you like those it’s pretty solid especially since they don’t do the shaky cam for the most part. Barry Levinson directed it and I was kind of left wondering why it came and went with no fanfare. Cross between Jaws and Contagion, except the little buggers in this are actually real. - B
Bangkok Revenge - cool action scenes, terrible story plot with a lot of holes, and awkward accents. WWZ - overall enjoyed it. nice little thriller but nothing groundbreaking Jack Reacher - Tom Cruise is a BA in this movie but left some loose ends...at the end Internship - My standards were high from their other movies so it didn't quite reach the bar. It had its moments but I say rent it. Man of Steel - I know ratings are split but I liked it. I enjoyed the storyline about his early life mostly and the fight scenes weren't cheesy...though a bit too long for my taste
Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain Pretty Funny but not the funniest I have seen I give it a solid 8/10 Rocket River
