you do know that they would change the offence to better suit Dwight if he came here, McHale has always wanted a dominating big man because he is one himself, the reason we ran mostly last season was because it was the best way we could score.
I want to believe this is all a desperate Lakers- Warriors move, because both are sure that DH will choose Houston.
Especially one that shoots the ball better than Harden... actually they'll probably have two if you include Thompson.. that back court is tailor made fro Dwight because it equals ===SPACE.
Why would Howard sign for 4 year 88 million then get hit with the 13% tax rate? 300 million in China + Lin don't account for anything, Hell he coould stay in l.a. and be better off. If he really wants a sign and trade.. He should have sat down with the clippers and Lakers take Blake! Rockets Press Conference set for July 10th.. Bingo!
good point. for some reason GS seems to be out of the picture. They would have to give up way to much to the lakers to do a S&T . Second question is, how would GS clear cap space to a random NBA team. Salaries have to match I believe and giving up Bogut, Biedrens, Jefferson, would be a hard sell to a random team.
Everyone needs to calm down!! If Dwight does sign somewhere else it is not the end of the world. The other team may regret signing him if the "Dwightmare" emerges again or his back keeps him from playing.
Same here. Barnes would be good too. I just dont see them giving up both players to satisfy the lakers and the third team unless the lakers bend over and say sure we will take crappy picks. I would also play bogut and shop him. I prefer keeping asik.
dubs might have an advantage simply for its history or lack there of. houston has hakeem to live up to. then san francisco might be a more appealing market than houston. and dont get mad for saying this, their fans are better.
I guess there won't be another Dwightmare.... After 3, 4years his most of his athleticism will be gone. He might not even be a max player.
I've got an outlandish idea. If we miss out on Dwight, and he leaves the Lakers, trade for Pau and then wait for Love. Pau's contract is expiring but he can help us win some games and stay competitive now. Then, we wait for Love to come in and join us for a ring. Its perfect.

I feel so good knowing that Dwight will be a Rocket soon and every one on clutchfans is freaking out.
I like the idea and would not be surprised if they amnestied Gasol especially if Kobe is not 100%. We might could get him fairly cheap.
