Not being a troll just putting myself in the GM's shoes, will klay or barnes ever reach dwight's level? impacting both ends of the court? You can easily convince dwight that shooters can be easily acquired, shoot that's what some were doing here, replacing our starters with barn players from europe.

Giving up klay or barnes or both will not affect them much in the short term. If barnes reaches durant's level in 3 seasons, well, then you might hit yourself in the head against a wall.

Whenever this GSW thing blows over....

Can somebody make a gif, showing an old school WWF wrestler raising is hand on the 2 1/2 count?

Rockets have to still be in this... I don't believe until Dwight say something

could also be that dwight has informed GS that he is picking HOU tomorrow unless they can make it happen.

    still not over.

GS definitely makes sense and is probably a better fit than Houston to be honest. Just sucks is all.

I agree. I am ready for this to end. Time to move on.

What I've learned so far about the NBA, if it doesnt make sense it will happen.

Is it possible to get a "News Only" thread going? Going cross eyed trying to dig up real info up in here.

J.R. 9000, do you have a twitter account we can peep at for future news?

I do believe that Dwight would rather play in GS.

It doesn't mean they can pull it off though.

Houston might be his second choice but they're still likely to land him.

    I don't believe it.

Speaking of Marketing advantages, LA has Hollywood and Hou has China while GSW has nothing.

    And the Rockets are healthier.

This is what happens when you keep on refreshing clutchfans 72 hours straight! You're being pathetic guys, that gsw s and t won't really happen. Its too complex. Its all good though whether dwight signs here or not. I'm still a rocket fan no matter what happens, a contender or a lottery team, it doesn't matter to me. Now, keep the gif's coming! :D

You know what this is ridiculous, I feel with all the diehards myself included. Houston is the favorite and obvious choice, that has been the case since the beg. Even all the national writers said so. Then it was between us and Fakers, once Fakers are out because of Rapist conceded ass then national media wants to bring all these other teams back in so they have something to tweet about. A bunch of idiots. Rockets is the smart decision whether DH12 picks us or not announce it already so we can either Josh smith or we can go trade for LMA and Rondo

    And...

maybe in the meeting D12 told them the conditions in which he would be willing to play for GS. He also may have told Houston. You go out of your way to (and have done so for months now) to be a negative spin doctor.

Maybe D12 prefers Harden or maybe he prefers Curry. Maybe the reason you hear of GS making all of these last ditch moves is because they are up against the clock and time is running out on them.

Yeah, I was sort of afraid of GS from the beginning -- it was the only other team besides Houston that could get him and still have a championship caliber roster to put around him (even if they do lose either Thompson or Barnes, their roster is still very solid -- comparable to Houston it could be argued, though I would disagree).

That said, don't freak out guys. GS is probably just doing their due diligence in getting stuff in place IN CASE Dwight chooses them. Same way the Rockets are probably doing something to clear White out, but won't pull the trigger until Dwight chooses them and they do in fact absolutely need that cap space and would thus be willing to shell out picks and cash.

Golden State has probably been putting these feelers out for a while -- reporters are just now getting wind to them is all.

So is Dwight actually supposed to make his decision tomorrow or was that just speculation?

This. Dwight would be amazing for this team but everyone acts like it's game over if we don't land him. Have you seen next years free agents?!?

If Dwight leaves the Lakers I guarantee he will want to be farther away from LA than Oakland.

    GS isn't happening.
