i think a delay only means Dwight is waiting for a team or teams to try and work a deal out. That can really only point to the Warriors and Rockets. I think Houston already has something in place to bring Smith over, if DH signs with them. However, I also think DH prefers the Warriors, IF they can keep their starters, minus Bogut. So, he is probably delaying picking Houston to give GS time to work something out. Although LA has said they won't do it, they may, if they get something worthwhile in return. If GS can't make it happen soon, Dwight picks Houston.
It's trolling to show rumors that don't favor the Rockets? There are reporters talking about the Warriors option picking up steam and there is talk of a multi-team deal. More valuable than nothing.
Ya. Picks are nice. I think you should share your sources. That way we can all see what the good deal the Lakers are being offered. Please. Share with us.
A simple "Youre reading too much into it" would suffice, no need to be demeaning. Probably a little displaced anger in that last post...my bad. Im calm now.
If GS was scrambling to accomodate Howard we'd have heard about it by now. Other teams would need to be involved or the Lakers would have put the news on blast to make Howard look like a traitor. Major shifts like that just dont happen behind closed doors anymore, they almost always leak.
I cant see LA facilitating a S&T that **** blocks them from contention for the next 6 yrs. GS w Dwight minus Bogut would be damn good. No way LA does that.
No they aren't valuable at all, especially when you are then making your division rival a chance to make a superteam. No. That then makes it a bad move. What team deals their superstar player to a division rival...in any sport? in fact most times when a team wants to deal or has to deal their big name player they go across conference to do it...almost in any sport and most of the time.
This helps our chances: In Lakers-Howard meeting, Bryant's acting like he's the only human being to have success on the basketball court, ever. Bryant's pitch should have been about how they could accomplish great things, but the takeaway from this little speech is that Bryant can allow Howard to have greatness. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/e...nt-challenges-dwight-howard-in-lakers-meeting
