Why?? He could easily be a "Dwightmare" for them or go down with back problems. Of course the same thing could happen to us if we sign him to.
It seems that Howard has really soured on Fegan following last season's debacle. I feel like last year with the whole Nets thing and the list of Dallas/LA/BK was basically Fegan's idea. And things ended horribly for Howard. If Fegan had his way, I bet Houston wouldn't even be on the list of candidates. Probably Dallas and LA would be the only places to consider. Coming to Houston would absolutely be a Dwight decision, rather than him letting his people dictate his future.
Why do people even take Dallas seriously??? Why wait for Dallas to rebuild, when you can rebuild with the Lakers for more $$$??? Why play with an aging Dirk, when you can play with an aging Kobe??? Get Real!!!
I can't imagine another owner having colluded with Fegan to secretly not announce a Shawn Marion trade until...well, now. Which is what it would take to get enough cap space in Dallas. If Howard goes to Dallas, which I don't think he will, then as I've said, this whole thing was set up months ago and Howard is willing to put all his thought process into another's hands. I think the wait is simply respecting all the teams that put effort into this, and not tipping his hat that he's decided on the Rockets all along. (Says the homer fan.) Although I do think Fegan will keep pushing the Cuban angle. One way or another he'll have to go back to L.A. and face the music once he announces he ain't staying.

I just wanted to say thanks for everyone on this sight for searching the net for information and posting it here. Maybe I am a lazy fan, but I pretty much just look here and ESPN for Rocket's updates. I don't do Twitter. So thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!
Could be he is just waiting for Dallas to clear the cap room, if possible. I find it hard to believe he is this indecisive about it.
