Man if we want to get rid of him, let him play some summer league. Can't possibly hurt his value more.

It might hurt his value if teams see that we're not even willing to put him in summer league.

There are two possibilities:

- We have a deal agreed for him; or
- We shopped him, no one cared, and we are now preparing to cut + stretch his contract.

 

A team with cap space might take him of the Rockets hands for a second round pick. Basically they will have to pay someone to take him, so that the Rockets can free up cap space.

 

He obviously wouldn't be the prize in the trade. He'd be the the extra fat on the pick or whatever else we would ship out with him.

 

Where does this dude rank on all-time draft bust lists?

 

The only way I could see a team trading for him is if they are so far below the cap they need to add salary and can trade him for nothing but a TE.

If you're a rebuilding team under the cap and you can acquire a talent like White for absolutely nothing, you MAY at least consider taking that gamble.

But even that seems hard to imagine.

That's probably the most insulting realization in the NBA.

I despise this man, not because of his psychological issues, but because he uses his disability to attempt to manipulate fans, players and management.

He is a waste of a roster space in the NBA for all of the NBADL players that work their tails off just for a shot on a team.

Not very high. It's not THAT uncommon for mid-first round picks to either fall out of the league quickly or never even come over to the NBA if they're from Europe.
