If Royce was the only living person left in Houston, the Rockets would still be looking to move Royce.
Watching First Take now, FWIW they all think Kobe's speech was to pretty much drive Dwight away. Saying Kobe has not taught anyone how to be a champion, possibly Pau but that is it. Phil Jackson taught everyone, Kobe couldn't get Bynum to learn. They also talked about how Mike D'antoni and Kobe are boys, Mike was Kobe's guy that's why he got hired. Classic selfish Kobe, you admire him cause that's always the guy he has been, an introvert who wants to win his way. None of them felt Lebron or anyone of substance was going to LA in the future, possibly Carmelo.

Getting Dwight and Josh Smith gives us two great defenders and rebounding. Not to mention the athleticism and scoring. I'm interested to see what kind of chemistry they will have though if this ends up being the team.
Fegan's boss followed a few more teams on Twitter today. I'm sure this has been covered some pages back but I can't keep up lol. Do you think it proved that there was nothing substancial about him following the Rockets? Or was he just trying to cover his track?
