    2013 - 20 = 1993. Great minds think alike I suppose.

The argument that such and such a position cannot lead their team to championship is ridiculous to begin with because there just aren't many championships to go around. Small sample size. The success of teams anchored by good centers though is undeniable.

If anything if you want to make the argument against a position it would probably be PF. Who are the best PFs of all time? Barkley, Malone, probably KG. I don't put Duncan in this category. The three best PFs have one championship among them. Next would be PG. Magic, Stockton, Kidd, Paul. If you look at the score first PGs its worse. Iverson, Isaiah, Penny, KJ. Rose.

Like I said the argument is dumb because all those guys had tons of success. Championships as a barometer is unfair. But you look at SG (Jordan Kobe) and SF (Bird Lebron) and C (Hakeem Duncan Shaq) and you can see why people get googley eyed ar a team led by Harden and Dwight.

There's no way it gets leaked today. Not on the 4th of July. Enjoy your 4th with family and friends, gents! Maybe late tonight, but definitely tomorrow, we'll be either heartbroken or extremely elated. Until then Joey Chestnut has my full attention as he goes for 70 hot dogs and buns!!

I agree, all the parties involved will orchestrate this for maximum PR effect.
Most sports news people will take the 4th off.

Steve Nash was traded on the 4th last year. Poor Morey, he is stuck in LA for the holiday, good for him, bad for his family.

I think we find out today. It'll be good press wise to release his decision to leave Los Angeles on the 4th, when everyone will be out doing stuff.

You think Dwight would be selfish enough to take the media spotlight from the 4th of July and make his decision?

btw, happy 4th of July to all of you in america,

350 pages, and the only really good thing about this thread is that one gif with everybody dancing. That was genius, especially putting McHale in the ugly sweater. LOL. #SotaRepreZENT

    Broussard:

He's going through it(the process). Today is going to be the big day. Today is when they'll sit down and go over everything and make a decision or get towards making the decision. The Lakers were further behind last week. They did a good job with their presentation.

Lakers want him back but if he does leave, they view it as he wasn't Lakers material anyways.

Right now, no sign and trade because they'll have cap space in 2014, we're the Lakers, players want to play for us.

Where do you think he ends up?

I think Houston and Dallas still have very good shots. Lakers made up ground. They focused on the marketing. I think Houston would probably be the front-runner. Houston is the best basketball fit. Lakers and Mavs are talking about 2014. Whatever decision he makes, I'm fine with.

It would be hilarious if he waited until the 10th to announce it.

Step away from your devices gentlemen. It'll happen when it happens.
